This high-accuracy inclination sensor is engineered for demanding environments and fully compatible with other MGB-TECH products. Encased in a robust, waterproof stainless steel housing, it features a gyro-compensated 3-axis angular sensor with full 360° measurement.
This fully solid state inclination sensor has a three axis accelerometer and gyro MEMS technology on board. These MEMS not only give you low noise highly reproducible accurate measurements but also make them stable over temperature.
Every 8 milliseconds the internal position engine will determine the 3D inclination of the sensor. The engine fuses the measurements from the gyro and acceleration sensor through a Kalman filter that is specifically tuned for machine control applications giving you best in class results.
The SAE3-HS sensor is designed for seamless compatibility with other MGB-TECH products, enabling immediate use without the need for additional customization.
The sensor is fully software configurable over the CAN bus. Different output parameters are available with configurable update rates.
There are 24 possible freedoms for mounting the sensor in every position imaginable.
